Meet Palm Royale. She showed up uninvited to a thrift store frame that used to hold a print of a vintage red dress — and she took over completely.

This piece started as someone else’s art. I painted directly over the original print, transforming a forgotten thrift-store find into a bold, unapologetic flamingo in vivid pink and deep teal. That’s the whole idea behind the Thrift Rescue Series: nothing here started as a blank canvas. Every piece has a past life, and I paint something entirely new — and entirely mine — right on top of it.
